What are the Mitsubishi Graphics made of?

The custom graphics are made using 3M products. Our graphics are printed on 3M vinyl and laminated for protection. This premium quality vinyl is the same material used for premium full wrap vehicle graphics. Mitsubishi Graphics is able to control quality by doing all production in-house.

Will the color of vinyl I receive and the colors on the website match exactly?

In most cases you will not see a difference. However, the images on the website are representations of our products. Because of the wide array of monitors and monitor settings we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colors that are depicted on the websites.

How long will the graphics last?

The graphics are designed to be replaceable, but they will last anywhere from 3-5 years. They come with a 3 year 36,000 mile Warranty.

Will the vinyl graphic damage the vehicle?

No the vinyl will not damage the vehicle. It will act as another layer of protection between your car and outside elements and forces.

How does the dealership or the customer care for the graphics once they are installed onto the vehicle?

This is a vinyl product and should be cleaned and conditioned during your routine washing. Avoid car washes that use brushes or high pressure. We recommend hand washing. Any abrasives, oils and petroleum distillates should not be used on vinyl. Waxes should never be used on vinyl. Most waxes contain petroleum distillates, and because wax is a build-up product. It holds in the heat absorbed from the sun and accelerates heat damage.

Damage to any product once you receive it is not covered by the warranty. Mitsubishi Graphics will sell you replacement pieces at a discounted cost within 30 days of your original order. Photos of the damaged piece may be required

We have found graphics we like on one of the vehicle websites how come we can't buy them directly on that website?

Will the vinyl leave a residue when graphics are removed?

It will not leave any residue. However, if you are putting it on an antique paint job you should test a discreet area to make sure that any surface oxidation doesn't leave a residue from the vinyl adhesive.

We work in a very sunny and hot climate; will the graphics fade in these conditions?

All of our designs are covered with a clear over laminate. This material adds durability to the product and lessens the effects of UV light on the material. However, there are many variables involved such as where the vehicle is parked, if it is washed regularly, and was it installed properly. 3M provides warranty information on their materials against fading and cracking when the application is performed within their specification.

How long should we expect to wait after ordering until we get the order?

Typically we will start to produce your order the day after you place it. Production time will take from 1-3 days depending on the graphics complexity. After the graphic is produced it will be shipped ground and should arrive in 3-5 days.
